TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1 About the competition
1.1 This Competition commences on 9th May 2024, 1000 hours SGT and ends on 12th May 2024, 2200 hours SGT (“Contest Period”).
1.2 This Competition will be governed by these standard terms and conditions ("Terms"). By participating in this Competition, you (“the Participant”) confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and that you agree to be bound by and to comply with these Terms. Non-compliance with or breach of any of the Terms may disqualify you, and any prize won by you may be forfeited, withheld, withdrawn or reclaimed.
2 Eligibility
2.1 This Contest is open to:
a) INDIVIDUALS OVER THE AGE OF 18 AS AT 9 MAY 2024;
b) RESIDENTS AND/OR CITIZENS OF SINGAPORE
2.2 Air Canada employees (and each of their immediate families), agencies and partners associated with this Competition are not eligible for this Competition.
3 Competition Mechanics
Each participant may submit only one (1) entry for each Contest unless otherwise stated. Duplicate entries on different platforms for the same Contest are not allowed and shall, if identical, be counted as a single entry or, if different, all be disqualified.
3.1 To be eligible to enter, the Participant must undertake the following steps during the Contest Period:
a) Visit the Air Canada Flower Market at the Level 1 Atrium (near FILA) at Plaza Singapura between 9-12 May 2024;
b) Complete the digital entry form for the Canada is Calling Ticket Giveaway either by scanning a QR code or with a promotional staff member, including:
i. Clicking to agree to these Terms & Conditions
ii. Clicking to confirm
i. Eligible to respond to the Company’s winner notification within 7 days from the time the Company sends the notification; and
ii. Over 18 years of age; and
iii. A Singaporean resident and/or citizen
3.2 By agreeing to the above, the Company will use the Participant’s contact details from the entry form for the purposes of the draw and winner notification where relevant.
4 Competition Prize (“Prize”)
4.1 The Prize of the Competition is as follows:
One pair [two] of Economy Class, round-trip flight tickets from Singapore to Canada [As per Schedule 1], servicing any Canadian Airport served by Air Canada to anywhere in Canada. Flight tickets are valued at CAD 8,400. Class of travel: Economy.
4.2 There will be one (1) Competition winner (“Winner”) in total.
4.3 The Winner will be drawn at random 5 days after the Competition ends. Winner will be notified via electronic email on 17 May 2024 (“Draw Date”).
4.4 Company / brand will agree with the Winner on a date, time and address to redeem the Prize. Proof of the notification electronic email from Company / brand must be presented to the authorized representative in order to redeem the Prize on the agreed date. If a Winner fails to produce the required information, his/her respective prize will be forfeited (without any liability on the part of Company/brand to any person).
4.5 Prizes that are not redeemed within fourteen (14) calendar days from the Draw Date will be forfeited. No correspondence or claims will be entertained in the event of such forfeiture. A Participant whose prize has been forfeited shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation whatsoever from Company/brand.
4.6 Reserve Winner will be drawn to replace any Winner subsequently disqualified.
4.7 If Company/brand discovers that a Winner was not entitled to participate or if a Winner is subsequently disqualified from participating in the Contest, Company/brand may at its discretion forfeit the Prize, reclaim it after award and then choose an eventual winner from the reserve winner list or donate the Prize to an approved charitable organisation of Company/brand choice.
4.8 Prizes are not transferable, or exchangeable for cash, credits or any other item or otherwise, either partially or wholly.
4.9 Winner(s) are not allowed to select travel class for their prizes. Flight tickets are to follow availability and other conditions of the prize.
4.10 The winner of the Prize shall be responsible for all ancillary and additional costs arising from the use of the Prize, insofar as these are not specifically indicated as part of the Prize.
4.11 Prize will be provided digitally in the form of a letter/voucher on which will stipulate booking instructions, information on blackout dates and conditions of the prize.
5 General
5.1 Participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
5.2 Participants consent under the Personal Data Protection Act (Cap 26 of 2012) to the collection, use and disclosure of the participants' personal data by/to the organizers, promoters or conductors of the Competition and such other third party for the purpose of administering the Competition and the participants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by the terms of the Company/brand’s Data Protection Policy, as may be amended, supplemented and/or substituted by Company/brand from time to time, a copy of which can be found here.
5.3 The decision of Company/brand on all matters relating to or in connection with the Competition shall be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence or claims will be entertained.
5.4 Company/brand shall not be liable in any way to any participant or any other person for any injury, loss, damage or expense arising out of or in connection with the Competition and the Prizes.
5.5 Company/brand may, at any time at its sole discretion and without prior notice, vary, modify, delete or add to these terms and conditions or suspend or terminate the Competition without any notice or liability to any person.
5.6 In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, FAQs, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Competition, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
5.7 All Company/brand’s Terms and Conditions and fair usage policies apply, as listed in the Terms of Use.
5.8 Company/brand reserves the right to amend Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
SCHEDULE 1
CONDITIONS OF FLIGHTS
Round-trip flight tickets from Singapore to Canada:
This includes flights operated under the Air Canada Express® banner and operated by Air Canada Rouge®. Not valid for flights operated by Star Alliance partners, code sharing carriers or Air Canada Vacation packages. Multi-city bookings will not be permitted.
Tickets are only valid on regular scheduled Air Canada, Air Canada rouge, and Air Canada Express flights. They are not valid for flights operated by Star Alliance partners, code sharing carriers or Air Canada Vacation packages.
Please note that some of our destinations are seasonal.
Once tickets have been issued, neither the origin nor the destination can be changed. However, should you need to make any changes to your reservation, go to the “Manage my Bookings” tab on aircanada.com. Changes to flight times and/or travel dates carry a fee per ticket and are subject to availability.
All travel must be completed by June 30, 2025.
Entry in the Air Canada Signature Suite is not permitted.
